Surprise! Brooke Burke and David Charvet delight friends and family as they tie the knot for the second time


They already married in an intimate ceremony on the French Caribbean island of St. Barts, last month.

But with just their children and two close friends only present, Brooke Burke and David Charvet did not get a chance to celebrate with their other family members and friends.

So as Brooke celebrated her 40th birthday this past weekend, the couple decided to double the party with a second wedding, surprising all of their guests, who missed out on their summer nuptials.

The couple tied the knot in a traditional Jewish ceremony conducted by a Rabbi in Malibu, last Friday.

Both David and Brooke are half Jewish and follow the faith.

The brunette beauty wore her hair down in a loose wave and adorned herself with some art-deco diamonds, including a bracelet and dress ring on her right hand, while her wedding and engagement ring rested on her left.

She also slipped on strappy Cinderella-inspired and crystal-encrusted wedding shoes.

David wore a traditional Jewish Talit and Yamaka over a white pair of trousers and pinstripe white shirt for the traditional ceremony.

Watching his wife to walk down the lawn aisle at the lavish private residence in Malibu, the handsome Baywatch star smiled upon seeing the gorgeous actress.

Following the ceremony, the couple embraced for a kiss, much to the delight of guests, including Brooke's fellow DWTS pal Derek Hough, Days Of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney and David's Baywatch and Melrose Place co-star Lisa Rinna, who all let out cheers and snapped pictures.

The couple also engaged in other traditions, including the cheeky ritual where the groom removes the garter fro his wife's leg.

David proudly swung the accoutrement in the air from a balcony, making for another perfect photo opportunity.

After the ceremony, both Brooke and David were ready to party with family and friends as they changed into more casual clothes.

Brooke looked incredible in a sparkling sequined chocolate jumpsuit, while David looked dapper in black trousers and a shirt.

'Brooke and I finally got married with our parents and friends last night,' David tweeted the following Saturday. 'It was beautiful!'

The couple also revealed that they were going on a honeymoon, via a joint Twitter account they set up called @Charvetlove.

'On our way to our local honeymoon. No kids, just pure romantic love,' they wrote. 'We finally are relaxing, basking in the memories from our religious, legal wedding last night.'

The couple have been together for five years and have two children together, four-year-old daughter Heaven Rain and three-year-old son Shaya Braven. They became engaged in August 2006.

Brooke has two other children from her first marriage to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher, daughters Sierra Sky, nine, and Neriah, 11.

The family clan and two close friends were all present when Brooke and David first tied the knot after five years together on the French Caribbean island of St. Barts, last month.

The couple said 'I do' on a boat as the sun was setting in a ceremony described to the MailOnline as 'beautiful' and 'intimate'.

An insider told MailOnline that for their first wedding the couple wanted to marry now as an 'expression of their love' but wanted their nuptials to be 'very private'.

'They had a beautiful ceremony in St. Barts on a sail boat in front of their children', the source said.

'It was a spontaneous decision and wanted it to just be them and their children. The family are an incredibly tight unit and they are very much in love.

'Brooke adores David and he loves her and their family and they can't imagine being with anyone else so they thought it was the right time.'
